More pups from the weekend !

We had some really nice dogs this weekend . Here is a Standard Poodle that I shot . Doesnt she look right at home on the red chaise lounge ?



We also had 2 Chihuahua's ! You know how I love Chi's !! This first lil guy was sooooooo adorable !!! He was the best little puppy ! He has the head tilt down pat !I also really love the different colors in this scene . It really POPS !



And here is the other Chihuahua in our Mexican theme . I love this theme ! It would look great in a kitchen , which is where most people who choose this put it ;)

English Toy Spaniel Cutie Pie

One of the things I like most about being a pet photographer is seeing all of the different dog breeds. I have always been a fan of dog shows and am pretty good at identifying most breeds . So far I have photographed a few breeds we dont see a whole lot of here ...such as Puli's,Basenji,Chinese Crested,Newfs ....and this weekend a English Toy Spaniel . I was excited because they are a cousin of one of my breeds .... the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel . The ETS is smaller than the Cavalier and has a smushier snout . Here is the little cutie pie from this weeked ...

Dress Up !

Lately ....one of my favorite things to do is to play with color ! In these scenes we are using the pups playing "Dress up" and incorporating Color ....which gives the photos PIZAZZ ! I think they love playing "Dress up" too !

Posin' Pups

Lately we have had some really good posing pups ! The following are some of my clients that really live up to their breed !

Border Collies are herding dogs , so when mom wanted a pic with the western theme I was excited to give her what she wanted ! This Border Collie looks so at home in this setting doesnt she ?



She has a prissy little sister though .... so she had to do a honorary girlie shot too ;)



Our next posing gal was a Shih Tzu whose mom was quite surprised when we got this great shot !



Ahoy Matey ! This poodle makes a perfect pirate and looks right at home posing with all of his treasure !

Another absolutely BEAUTIFUL dog was Dakota ! Dakota is the BIGGEST dog I have ever seen ! He is a Alaskan Malamute . We got some GORGEOUS shots of him . Here are a couple .... which just doesnt do his MASSIVE SIZE justice ! You just had to see him to KNOW how BIG he is !

Under the weather

Sorry the Blog has been a little slow this week . I have Bronchitis and its been kicking my butt ! After finally getting myself to the doctor yesterday , where I got a breathing treatment,chest ray, 2 shots, antibiotics and oral steroids I should be back and running full speed ahead in no time !
